Foynes - birthplace of Irish Coffee

In late May, MFE took a day trip with Links - the ladies group of the local Church of Ireland. This was supposed to be a boat trip to Scattery Island, but winds were too high for a safe journey. So, after a nice lunch in Tarbert and a worship service in the garden of the Church of Ireland in Tarbert, we visited the Flying Boat Museum in Foynes - a very interesting trip. I think the pictures are self-explanatory.
