2 days after Susan and Pat left, Lorraine and David arrived. We were so glad to see them. Lorraine is our first return visitor, and she liked it the second time around. John and Pat stayed home and were missed, but we still had a great time. We continued our effort to do the familiar and favorite things but to also add a few new things for ourselves.

Since I am a little short of time I am going to put on lots of pictures and a little less narrative than usual. Killarney Nat'l Park before going to the races

Our funpacked schedule included the Killarney Races on Ladies Day - great fun and a gorgeous setting. As you can see we weren't quite as decked out as some, but we had a great time.
How could you miss having a good time in this kind of setting! I've included a short video - more for setting than the race itself!

On Sunday all 4 of us went to Kenmare. This is always a pretty drive and a beautiful town, but this was especially fun because the Munster All-Ireland Fleadh was going on - trad music contests. It was great! We also happened on to a demonstration of Irish lace-making.
